Big River Feeder Fishing

This is a bit of an experiment, but it’s one I really hope will work. If it does I’ll be in a position to share my entire back catalogue of articles dating back more than 20 years…

The following article was published in David Hall’s Coarse Fishing magazine back in January 1992. At the time there was no such thing as an in-line feeder so you could say this was quite a revolutionary piece. You might also recognise  the phrase‘Days And Ways’ which is used in the standfirst. It may might sound familiar for some reason…      😉

The article will eventually load up at the foot of this page (please be patient – it’s a big file!) but if you’re intending to read it then don’t bother waiting, just click on one of the links below and it will open up in a new window. Click full screen (just above the article), then scroll down to reveal the zoom buttons. You can then resize the pdf to fit your screen accordingly.

If you want to see the article laid out as it appeared in the magazine simply click the multiple image icon to the right of the zoom buttons.

All being well this should work like clockwork.

Please feel free to give me have some feedback on whether you like this format and especially if you have any problems reading it. I’m not sure yet whether the host will limit the number of views/ articles but I hope not.

  1. Bob, that worked perfect for me & a great article. I also recognise that weir, I live not far from there & have had some great sessions down there too.

Blimey, the good ole Thamesly blockend feeders there`s a blast from the past, shame they dont do them anymore.

    Thanks,

    William
