How To Book Your Place

Providing you won a genuine club match, your match secretary submitted a report, in which case it will have been reported in the Star newspaper Angling Column, then your name should appear in the list below. Please note that we will continue to add to the list right up to the first semi final should you qualify between now and then.

If you decide to take part in one of the semi finals then you must pre-pay pools and pegging by contacting the match organiser, Geoff Hurt, in advance. Match entry is £20 all-in with a 100 per cent pay-out, minus pegging fees. This can be paid in cash, direct to Geoff Hurt, or by cheque or postal order for £20 made out to Green Un Match Anglers Championship. But please ensure you include your contact telephone number. This is very important. If someone qualifies in the semi but can’t make the final, that place then goes to the section runner-up, providing we can contact you.

Geoff Hurt’s contact details are:

36 Hazelbarrow Road, Jordanthorpe, Sheffield, S8 8AW.

Phone: 07921 166136

Please note that if you intend to fish the second semi final and wish to pay by cheque or postal order then payment must be with Geoff by no later than Sunday14th May.

    • As it clearly states in the article, you must contact Geoff Hurt and register. Pools must be paid up front or an arrangement made with Geoff. Too many folk book on to matches these days and don’t turn up on the day leaving the organisers out of pocket or the pools are short. So long as Geoff agrees you can register at short notice providing your name is in the qualifying list.

    • Island. Probably every other peg to give folks a bit of room to work. Speak to Luke at Hallcroft if you need a bit of guidance.
